Celebrate the Season at the 2026 Christmas Open House

The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center invites the community to celebrate the holiday season during its annual Christmas Open House on Saturday, December 5, 2026.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Center during Christmastime while learning about the customs and traditions that Czech families have passed down through generations. The event will feature festive decorations, authentic Czech holiday traditions, cultural exhibits and activities for visitors of all ages.

This year’s celebration will also include the inaugural La Grange Arts and Cultural Council exhibit, featuring artwork created by talented local artists. The exhibit will provide a special opportunity to celebrate the creativity of our community while introducing visitors to the newly organized Arts and Cultural Council.

Guests are encouraged to explore the Center’s museum, library and Czech Village while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Christmas season. The historic buildings of the Czech Village provide a beautiful setting for sharing stories, traditions and memories of Christmases past.
